When we understand that our decisions can change what happens in our homes, schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities, voting stops feeling like an inconvenience and starts feeling like a way to say: I count.
But to vote with confidence, we first have to accept something important: your vote matters. And so do you.
Many people do not vote because they feel their vote will not change anything. But the decisions that affect our daily lives are made by the people who participate.
